We had the wonderful opportunity to be visited by former Representative Gigi Talcott and current Representative Glenn Anderson Friday January 7th.
What a treat!
Gigi connected with our family regarding WAVA and guided us to invite Anderson to our home.
He had never met an Online Learning student and it was fun to educate him on the system.
It is our hope that he will continue to fight for education money and that Online Learning Programs will be funded and seen as equally beneficial, if not more, than brick and morter schools.
We took video of the meeting and enjoyed getting to know these two educational advocates.
Alyssa did a great job speaking to these important WA state individuals who have helped guide the decisions in Olympia for many years.
